We are after a number of students to plant small native plants on Easter Friday and Saturday and possibly Sunday in Albert Town. $20/hour. Please call Kevin on 0220 997883

Future Legends Scholarship

On 1 March 2021, MTF Finance launched the Future Legends Scholarship. It has been developed to support and nurture talented young Kiwis from a range of disciplines. We’re looking for the legends of tomorrow: the sporting greats; the performers; the change-makers.

MTF Finance will award six $5,000 cash prizes nationwide over two rounds throughout the year.

Applications are open to New Zealanders aged 13-21 years.

Winners will be chosen from three categories:

  • Sport

  • Academia and entrepreneurship

  • Music and arts

Studylink: Loans/Allowances

To apply for a student allowance or a student loan go to https://www.studylink.govt.nz/online-services/apply/first-time/index.html and follow the steps

  1. The first step is to get started on making a Real Me log in.

  2. The second step (can be done without a real Me account) is to complete the Eligibility test.

  3. Make sure you go to the Budgeting Workshop for students at the Wanaka Community Centre on Thursday 25th March at 7pm. Run by the Wanaka Library.
